Message from the Chairman

"Business and government are swiftly embracing location intelligent solutions that integrate cloud computing and analytics. We'll bring you a world of new insights in 2012."
Joe Francica,
Conference Chairman

Who should attend?

  • Do you use geospatial information to interpret marketing and operations data?
  • Are you engaged in analyzing customer demographic information?
  • Do you find yourself asking "where is this happening" when you look at spreadsheets of sales data?

...then you need to attend Location Intelligence 2012

The conference strives to focus on the solutions and trends that are seen at the intersection of geospatial technology and IT. Business intelligence solutions that integrate location technology, "big data," and analytics are now significant business tools...but how to use them effectively? That's where LI provides the necessary networking environment to get you in touch with other users and solution providers.

New trends in location-based mobile computing, cloud/SaaS business models, and web development tools such as HTML5 are key to understanding the direction of geospatial information analysis and visualization.

The conference strives to bring together vendors and users of location technology to discuss the impact on enterprise computing systems in sectors such as retail and finance as well as insurance, real estate, transportation, government and telecommunications. The event serves a growing need for business-to-business networking as well as understanding the needs of the technology user.

LI, since its inception, has always presented topics that were considered ahead of the curve. When we started the LI Conference in 2004, integration of location and BI tools was hardly discussed; now its considered a must in any BI solutions. In 2010, we focused on cloud/SaaS business models when there were hardly any companies with cloud-ready solutions. Again, now it's assumed that every vendor has a cloud model. So, this is why LI continues to push to develop a program that is always forward looking.
