In conjunction with two of our conference sponsors, Ubisense and Fish Software, we are installing sensors throughout the conference venue that will turn the event into a dynamic example of location-based technology. It is one thing to sit in a session and hear speakers talk about the technology; it’s quite another to be part of it!

All attendees (registered attendees and exhibitors) will receive an RFID tag with their name badge. You will interact with fellow attendees and exhibitors over the course of the three-day event. During your time in the exhibit hall, you may elect to be tracked as you visit exhibitor booths. As you approach each exhibitor, you have the option of having information about their technology to be emailed directly to you. You will be automatically recognized, your location will be accurately tracked, and it will know at which booth you are standing.

Exhibitors too will benefit. They will receive information about the traffic at their booths and the amount of time attendees spend visiting. They will learn how effective their message and presentation are.

It will be a truly "location-enabled" conference. You won't want to miss it!
